Ask Madame DeFarge
Madame is our knowledgeable knitter and resident wit. We engage her in this dual capacity not because she was so singlemindedly focused on revenge against the French aristocracy of the late 18th century for the unjustified deaths of most of her family, but because she was a formidable and constant knitter who literally knew how to read her knitting! We are sure that Thérèse de Farge was among the first to figure out that being able to read your knitting is the primary tool of a Stitchin' Bitch!
Since her unexpected -- yet timely -- demise, she's been much easier to be around. And since knitting is no longer allowed in court, she's had to stop reading hers there. Instead, through her column in the Fibers newsletter, she offers sound advice that stems from long years of experience -- you are invited to ignore it at your own peril!
